We're looking for a Finance & Controlling Specialist who oversees financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls, ensuring compliance with regulations. In this role you will drive financial strategy, and support key business decisions with accurate analysis.

YOUR CHALLENGE / TASK

  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

  • Monitor and control financial performance against budgets.

  • Establish and maintain internal controls and compliance with financial regulations.

  • Lead the accounting process, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

  • Manage general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll functions.

  • Ensure tax compliance and manage external audits.

  • Collaborate with other teams in Mavie Next and MavieMe to support business objectives.

  • Implement process improvements and maintain financial systems.

  • Provide financial insights for strategic planning and M&A activities.

Job requirements

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Educational background in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in finance, controlling, and accounting roles.

  • Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis.

  • Proficiency with accounting and ERP systems.

  • Proven ability to manage month-end/year-end closing and tax compliance.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

  • Fluency in both German and English.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience with process improvement and financial controls.

Due to legal requirements in Austria, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. Our salary range for this position is at 70.000 €.
