We are seeking a commercially driven and visionary Deputy Managing Director to serve as a strategic partner to the Managing Director in one of our Mavie companies operating within the Health and Wellbeing sector. This is a senior leadership role requiring an accomplished leader with exceptional commercial acumen, proven experience in scaling businesses, and expertise in driving innovation across health and wellbeing markets. You will take ownership of driving revenue growth, identifying new commercial opportunities, and ensuring the company delivers exceptional results in alignment with its mission of improving health and wellbeing outcomes.



YOUR CHALLENGE / TASKS:

Strategic Commercial Leadership

  • Collaborate with the MD to set a bold, growth-driven strategy for scaling the company’s footprint in the Health and Wellbeing market.
  • Implement commercial initiatives to achieve strategic business targets and enhance market share.


Commercial & Financial Accountability

  • Lead revenue performance and implement business plans to drive top-line growth.
  • Drives budgeting process and is hands-on regarding budget preparation, forecasting, and oversees financial processes to ensure profitability and financial success.


Business Development

  • Forge strategic partnerships and expand opportunities within health, wellbeing, and adjacent markets.
  • Identify innovative solutions to meet market demand and deliver growth ambitions.


Leadership & Team Excellence

  • Support and deputise for the MD, representing the company with key stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership to teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, agility, and accountability.


Operational & Delivery Excellence

  • Implementation, delivery and management of critical commercial and operational projects to ensure on-time success.
  • Embed operational excellence and efficiency to enhance business performance.


Collaboration & Reporting

  • Deliver high-level reporting on commercial performance, strategy, and opportunities.
  • Ensure cross-organisational alignment on key initiatives and business priorities.

Job requirements

What you need to be successful

  • Minimum 7-10 years of proven experience in a senior commercial, operational, or leadership role, with a strong focus on scaling businesses in the Health and Wellbeing sector or related industries (e.g., healthcare, wellness, life sciences).
  • Fluent in German and English at C2 level, with the ability to communicate persuasively and inspire confidence across all levels.
  • Demonstrated success in leading commercial growth strategies, delivering strong revenue and market expansion.
  • A deep understanding of the health and wellbeing sector, including emerging trends, customer needs, and commercial opportunities.
  • Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with experience building high-performing, results-driven teams.
  • Advanced financial acumen, with expertise in commercial planning, forecasting, and driving measurable returns on investment.
  • A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of delivering results and managing large, complex priorities in fast-paced environments.
  • A degree in Business Administration, Finance, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline; a master’s degree is a plus.
  • Strong Interpersonal, Communication & Negotiation Skills: Builds positive relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders through clear, effective communication, active listening, and empathy, while demonstrating integrity and professionalism in all interactions. Highly effective in negotiations with clients and partners.
  • Team-Oriented & Collaborative: Works well in team settings, supporting colleagues, respecting diverse perspectives, and contributing to collective success through flexibility and cooperation, all with a strong work ethic.
  • Fast & Efficient Delivery: Manages time effectively to meet deadlines, remains productive under pressure, and proactively solves problems to ensure high-quality, timely results, demonstrating professionalism and integrity throughout.

Due to legal requirements in Austria, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. Our salary range for this position starts at 90.000 €. Based on your experience and qualifications, our final offer will be a highly competitive market value-based salary.
