We are now seeking an innovative Senior CX & PX Designer to craft seamless, intuitive, and impactful human-centered design experiences across digital and physical contexts, with a particular focus on shaping the future of health and wellbeing. In this role, you showcase exceptional hands-on digital design expertise and a solid understanding of design systems. The ideal candidate will go beyond digital UX design and bridges the gap between digital interfaces and physical contexts, creating cohesive, client-centric interactions that align with our brand vision and represent a consistent brand identity.


YOUR CHALLENGE / TASKS

Integrated Experience Design:

  • Lead the development of an integrated user experience across Mavie's diverse range of products and services, to ensure that digital and physical touchpoints work cohesively to address customer needs and reflect a unified brand identity.
  • Develop and implement design solutions that ensure seamless and modern user and customer interactions.

Design System Management:

  • Establish effective digital design systems and workflows, utilising tools such as Figma for prototyping, and partnering with developers for an accurate handoff and implementation.
  • Utilise tools such as GitHub repositories to integrate digital design assets.


Research:

  • Conduct research and ethnographic studies to understand customer and user needs, behaviors, and pain points in both digital and physical contexts, especially within healthcare and wellbeing settings.
  • Define design goals, project scope and success metrics focused on outcomes and experiences.


Testing and Implementation:

  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate and refine designs, focusing on needs such as accessibility, ease of interaction, and speed of adoption to design.
  • Oversee the execution of designs, ensuring consistency and quality across all touchpoints, and that digital and physical spaces are unified under the same brand identity.


Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, healthcare professionals, UX designers, developers, architects, and marketing teams.
  • Build a community of user experience professionals within Mavie and its broader context, like UNIQA, and present design concepts and articulate design decisions to stakeholders.


Job requirements

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience in UX/Experience design with a portfolio showcasing digital and physical product/services projects, ideally including work that promotes health and wellbeing.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Experience working on cross-disciplinary projects.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
  • Understanding of human factors, ergonomics, and wellness-centered design.
  • Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Github, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D modeling software.
  • Up-to-date on design trends and passionate about innovation.
  • Working proficiency in German and English.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Builds positive relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders through clear, effective communication, active listening, and empathy, while demonstrating integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Team-Oriented & Collaborative: Works well in team settings, supporting colleagues, respecting diverse perspectives, and contributing to collective success through flexibility and cooperation, all with a strong work ethic.
  • Fast & Efficient Delivery: Manages time effectively to meet deadlines, remains productive under pressure, and proactively solves problems to ensure high-quality, timely results, demonstrating professionalism and integrity throughout.

Due to legal requirements in Austria, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. Our salary range for this position starts at 65.000 €. Based on your experience and qualifications, our final offer will be a competitive market value-based salary.
