As a Venture Builder at Mavie Next you will take raw ideas and turn them into thriving products and solutions. You will research markets, validate concepts, and build lean business models to launch MVPs and test product-market fit. You will lead and partner with agile teams, pivot quickly, and drive the hustle to scale solutions and products fast. You will pitch to the leadership team to secure investment, track key metrics, and use insights to drive smart, impactful decisions. YOUR CHALLENGE / TASKS
Ideation and Market Research:

  • Analyse global trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics to identify promising opportunities in health and wellbeing.
  • Conduct thorough user research to validate the viability of concepts and ensure alignment with market needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to refine and prioritise ideas based on impact potential and feasibility.

Business Planning and Fundraising:

  • Draft and pitch comprehensive business and growth plans, including detailed financial modeling, resource allocation, revenue strategies, to leadership team in order to secure funding.
  • Define and track KPIs to monitor performance and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Design frameworks to assess risks and formulate contingency plans for potential challenges.

Prototyping and Validation:

  • Develop MVPs to test hypotheses quickly and cost-effectively.
  • Collect user feedback through testing and iterate on solutions to refine the value proposition.
  • Measure market readiness and forecast outcomes.

Execution and Operational Oversight:

  • Drive the execution of business strategies and oversee the operational processes, ensuring milestones and timelines are met.
  • Collaborate with experts to ensure compliance with health and safety standards and other regulations.
  • Continually refine operations to optimise for growth and efficiency.

Team Building, Leadership and Stakeholder Management:

  • Cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and adaptability.
  • Foster team alignment with the venture’s mission, goals, and long-term vision.
  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders—including investors, partners, and industry experts—ensuring alignment on goals, driving collaboration, and fostering long-term partnerships.

Continuous Learning and Iteration:

  • Evaluate successes and failures to refine methodologies and strategies for future ventures.
  • Stay ahead of industry developments and incorporate cutting-edge practices into the venture-building process.

Job requirements

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Strong background in entrepreneurship, venture building, or product development, preferably within health and wellbeing industries.
  • Proven experience creating business strategies and operational frameworks from scratch.
  • Adaptable and comfortable with uncertainty in fast-moving, evolving environments.
  • Solution-oriented and pragmatic in tackling complex challenges.
  • Ability to balance perfection with the practicalities of delivering a Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
  • Resilience and persistence, to embrace failure as a learning opportunity to build better solutions.
  • Experience in the healthcare industry in areas such as but not limited to clinical care, elderly care, telehealth, mobile health, predictive analytics, population health, nutrition.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare ecosystem in Austria and DACH region is an advantage.
  • Experience with one or more of Blue Ocean Strategy, Design Thinking, and Lean Startup is an advantage.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English; German is an advantage.
  • Strong Interpersonal & Communication Skills: Builds positive relationships with team members, clients, and stakeholders through clear, effective communication, active listening, and empathy, while demonstrating integrity and professionalism in all interactions.
  • Team-Oriented & Collaborative: Works well in team settings, supporting colleagues, respecting diverse perspectives, and contributing to collective success through flexibility and cooperation, all with a strong work ethic.
  • Fast & Efficient Delivery: Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Manages time effectively to meet deadlines, remains productive under pressure, and proactively solves problems to ensure high-quality, timely results, demonstrating professionalism and integrity throughout.

Due to legal requirements in Austria, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. Our salary range for this position starts at 50.000 €. Based on your experience and qualifications, our final offer will be a competitive market value-based salary.
