Mavie Next is expanding its web and mobile capabilities, and we’re looking for an experienced full-stack developer to help architect, build, and evolve our integrated platform across both web and mobile apps."

Your main responsibilities

  • Own and evolve critical parts of our platform—front to back, from web interfaces to mobile apps and backend services.

  • Architect, build, and maintain scalable applications using React, React Native, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.

  • Lead feature development in close collaboration with product managers, backend engineers, and designers to deliver high-quality user experiences.

  • Translate business requirements and user needs into clean, maintainable, and scalable code.

  • Design, implement, and maintain APIs and client-server interactions that support both web and mobile clients.

  • Drive engineering excellence by applying modern best practices in architecture, testing, and continuous integration.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to fellow developers; help shape engineering standards across the team.

  • Be hands-on—debug, fix edge cases, and launch features in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Job requirements

What you need to be successful

  • 6+ years of professional experience as a full-stack developer, with at least 3 years working in production with React Native.

  • Strong proficiency in React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript across both web and mobile platforms.

  • Demonstrated experience designing and building user-centric applications that are scalable and maintainable.

  • Solid understanding of mobile development lifecycles and native integration in React Native/Expo.

  • Experience working with REST/GraphQL APIs and client-server authentication flows.

  • Comfortable collaborating with designers, backend teams, and product stakeholders in an agile environment.

  • Passion for clean code, design patterns, and engineering best practices.

  • Bonus if you have experience with: Contentful or other headless CMS, cloud infrastructure (GCP), Docker/Kubernetes, PostgreSQL.

  • Clear communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.

Due to legal requirements in Austria, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. Our salary range for this position starts at 80.000 €. Based on your experience and qualifications, our final offer will be a competitive market value-based salary.
